Agua Luca Cachaca Review: "Americans, being used to smoother sprits, prefer higher-end cachaça in their mixed drinks, avoiding lower-end products like Pitú altogether. A Brazilian might counter that a caipirinha made with aged cachaça doesn't taste right, the flavors battling it out in the glass. These two fine rums are almost universally well regarded, and can be had quite reasonably at $20 and $24 respectively. Like many distillers, DDL (Demerara Distillers, Ltd) also produces a low price product, in this case the El Dorado 5 Year, and does so at a ridiculously low price.
