soda acts as a Mouth cleanser, Whitening agent and has good Plaque removal effect on the Teeth. Only a small dose of Baking Soda is enough to treat Ulcer Pain, Cold and Cough.  Its natural deposits are used in making soap. It is used as salt, worldwide. As the name suggests, it is used for baking purposes, like preparing cakes and doughs.  For making dough and cake, another ingredient used is Baking Powder. But Baking Powder is not used as a substitute for Baking soda. Baking powder has Baking soda as one of its constituent. Both react differently under different coditions. Baking Soda is alkaline in nature, while baking powder is both acidic and basic in nature. Hence, it gives a sour taste and Baking Powder leaves a neutral effect, in  of taste. So, take care while using these ingredients. I  suggest  going  with  baking  soda.  Its  an  antacid,  it  neutralizes  stomach  acids.  ENO may provide temporary relief but not long term. Be careful with the dosage, excess may cause increased thirst, headache, abdominal cramps.

Hi  in  Ghana  we  have  bicarbonate  of  soda  in  rock  form,  used  to  add  this  to  lime  and tastes  nice  can't    why.  Is  this  product  suitable  for  consumption  as  the commercially available bicarbonate of soda.

Following herbs may help your father to fight Squamous cell carcinoma of esophagus. ­ Eat 10 to 15 Black Raspberries every day. ­2 cups of Green tea everyday. ­Drink a shot of wheat grass juice. 30 ml every morning. Include Garlic, Basil and Ginger in his diet.
